“Il Venerdì di Repubblica”, the weekly insert of the italian daily newspaper “La Repubblica”, published an article by Luigi Bignami about the very early scientific results of the expedition to Karakorum planned for the project “On the Trails of the Glaciers”. The article retrace the base concepts of the project, and describes its present achievements.
