dsc054531Associazione Macromicro is pleased to announce the great success of the photographic exhibition “On the Trails of the Glaciers: 1909-2009″; at the moment, there are more than 1000 visits a week and several reviews on all media.

The ceremony opened on February 24th at 18.00 with a series of speeches held by institutional personalities, as the Head of Culture of the Municipality of Rome, the Deputy Ambassador of the Embassy of Pakistan in Rome, Prof. Smiraglia of Milan’s Università Statale and Eng. Egidi, Manager Regulatory Affairs of Enel Green Power.

PostHeaderIcon The TV documentary

370x251The project “On the Trails of the Glaciers” plans a video documentary, for a total lenght of about 60 minutes, in high definition format. For video shootings last generation digital gear will be used, and in particular we’ll work with Sony PMW-EX3 camcorders, able to make available a non-linear XCAM workflow with the best full-HD quality on the market within a semi-portable camcorder. This device can switch between the 1080i and the 720p modes, and is equipped with the legendary trademark “CineAlta 24P”, able to record with multiple frame-rates (for example 59.94i and the native 23.98P). moebiusFabiano Ventura will be interviewed tonight at “Moebius” on Radio 24, the radio broadcasting transmission led by Federico Pedrocchi about research and scientific innovation thematics. The interview, about the new photographic-scientific project “On the Trails of the Glaciers”, soon to reach Karakorum and the K2 region, will be on air tonight, Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 20:00, and is planned to be re-issued again on the next Sunday, June 7, 2009, at 23:00.
