By studying the photographic archives, maps, texts and travel diaries from the original expedition, we will be able to locate the exact positions from which the photographs were taken.

To obtain maximum quality, 4”x 5” (6 x 17 cm) cameras will be used to photograph glaciers, while the latest digital cameras will be used to document the expedition.

During the expedition these photographs will be sent to our dedicated web portal (www.sulletraccedeighiacciai.it) on a daily basis giving the general audience an actual real-time coverage of the on-field events.
